    Easter Message 2026

    Jesus Christ is Risen! Alleluia!

We warmly welcome you to this blessed Easter Celebration of Hope at St Luke’s and St Timothy’s.

In the midst of uncertainty, confusion, alienation, and chaos, we are assured that through the Risen Christ, HOPE is alive—and we are never alone. His triumph over death is our promise of new life, renewed purpose, and true community. Whether you are a regular, new, or returning, you are most welcome here.

Easter is the moment when the light of Christ pierces the darkness of conflict and meaninglessness. As Archbishop Peter Comensoli beautifully reflects “The resurrection unfolds like morning light. It does not blind, but illumines. It does not erase wounds, but transfigures them. Christ, the Light of the World, comes to meet us as the light we need. Christ is present; Christ is life.” Let this Easter stir in our hearts to hope and rediscover the wonder of Christ’s light as well as to carry that light to others.

Here, there is something for everyone— seekers of truth (join Alpha), those longing to go deeper in faith, or simply looking to connect (LukTim YAM). Feed your curiosity. Encounter God and one another through our regular worship (see our MASS Times), over a cuppa, Bible study groups (Bible Timeline, Venture -Bible Study for teenagers, faith formation sessions. There are opportunities for connection and many ways to serve through ministries (Children Liturgy, Altar Servers, Cleaning, Hospitality), outreaches and social Justice (St Vincent de Paul)

Together, let us experience the life-giving power of the Risen Christ in a safe and welcoming space— for growth, healing, restoration, renewal and encounter God’s love.

Join us as we walk in the light of the Resurrection, building a community rooted in faith, hope, love, and belonging. Step into the joy of Easter—the joy of the Risen Christ.

Come and see. Come and belong. Come and rise.

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die”-  John 11:25-26
