    Day 1 Corinth, Greece

After an eventful start from Melbourne on 20th April with delayed departure and missed flights from Istanbul we arrived on 22nd April when the Bible was brought to life as we started on the pilgrimage to experience the Footsteps of St Paul in Corinth. We walked along a well- used path, reflecting on the tent maker, Paul’s mission for spreading the word about the crucified Christ. Where made stops, imagining where the apostle Paul could have stood, preaching to the people of Corinth living near – what is now ruins- the 6th century BC Temple of Apollo. On the grounds where St Paul once trod, what stood out for us was something St Paul would have done many times when he was in Corinth, the breaking of bread in a shared meal. In the open, upon a small pile of stones,Fr Alex and Fr Chris celebrated mass. The birds in the tree, under which the 26 pilgrims sat, seemed to be calling out the relevance of it all.

For us, Corinth wasn’t just the landmarks, but the feeling of connection across time. Corinth wasn’t just a destination; it became a reminder of perseverance, courage, and the enduring power of belief. The journey stayed with us long after we left.

    God bless,

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” -2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)

  • Easter Message 2026

    Easter Message 2026

    Jesus Christ is Risen! Alleluia!

We warmly welcome you to this blessed Easter Celebration of Hope at St Luke’s and St Timothy’s.

In the midst of uncertainty, confusion, alienation, and chaos, we are assured that through the Risen Christ, HOPE is alive—and we are never alone. His triumph over death is our promise of new life, renewed purpose, and true community. Whether you are a regular, new, or returning, you are most welcome here.

Easter is the moment when the light of Christ pierces the darkness of conflict and meaninglessness. As Archbishop Peter Comensoli beautifully reflects “The resurrection unfolds like morning light. It does not blind, but illumines. It does not erase wounds, but transfigures them. Christ, the Light of the World, comes to meet us as the light we need. Christ is present; Christ is life.” Let this Easter stir in our hearts to hope and rediscover the wonder of Christ’s light as well as to carry that light to others.

Here, there is something for everyone— seekers of truth (join Alpha), those longing to go deeper in faith, or simply looking to connect (LukTim YAM). Feed your curiosity. Encounter God and one another through our regular worship (see our MASS Times), over a cuppa, Bible study groups (Bible Timeline, Venture -Bible Study for teenagers, faith formation sessions. There are opportunities for connection and many ways to serve through ministries (Children Liturgy, Altar Servers, Cleaning, Hospitality), outreaches and social Justice (St Vincent de Paul)

Together, let us experience the life-giving power of the Risen Christ in a safe and welcoming space— for growth, healing, restoration, renewal and encounter God’s love.

Join us as we walk in the light of the Resurrection, building a community rooted in faith, hope, love, and belonging. Step into the joy of Easter—the joy of the Risen Christ.

Come and see. Come and belong. Come and rise.

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die”-  John 11:25-26
